Domain Transfer

    I cannot transfer my domain from GoDaddy until 12/16. In the meantime, to get my site building started, what can I do? Should I map instead for now? Thank you!

    Hi there,

    Yes you can “map” your GoDaddy domain to WordPress.com, so you can still use the URL as the address of your site (instead of the ‘wordpress.com’ URL we assign to it)

    Once you upgrade let us know and we can walk you through the steps you need to take to map your GoDaddy URL to your WordPress.com site so you do not need to wait for the option to transfer.
