It says that I must have a custom domain to use woocommerce plugin to create an online store. I already have a custom domain with an online store. But if I transfer my domain will my current online store be down while? I’m wanting to transfer webhosting and domain hosting to wordpress. Do they provide a temporary domain to allow me to create my online store? Are there any options to allow me to create the online store with wordpress and keep my current store online until i am ready to take the new site live and transfer my custom domain to wordpress?

Are you able to confirm the domain that you would like to use with WordPress.com please?
It sounds like you already have a self-hosted WordPress site built with another provider, is that correct?
If yes, you can move the site over to WordPress.com as per this guide here: https://wordpress.com/support/moving-from-self-hosted-wordpress-to-wordpress-com/
As so the live site is not disturbed, the site would be built on a temporary domain at WordPress.com.
