Domain Transfer

  We currently have a SquareSpace website and our domain is linked to our site. Is there a way to create a website in WordPress before we transfer the domain? That way the site isn’t live until it’s completed.

  You certainly can get your site set up here before switching your domain over!

  When you sign up for a new site, we give you a free subdomain (*.wordpress.com) that you can use to start building your new site.

  Here’s a guide that will help you migrate your current site to WordPress.com:
