  Hello,
  I have purchased a domain through Google and I want to connect it to my wordpress website but I am not quite sure of my options.

  Would you mind sharing your WordPress site’s address?

  In general, there are two ways to use a domain that you’ve purchased elsewhere with another registrar (like Google) – Domain Mapping and Domain Transferring.

  Hi there,

  If you want to connect your domain to a site hosted here on WordPress.com, you can look at the options @csabarakasz provided above. Note that you will need to upgrade your WordPress.com site to a paid plan to connect your own domain to it.

  If you want to connect the domain to a WordPress site at another host, you’ll want to contact that hosting provider directly for their steps for doing this.
