Domain transfer

    Hi! I registered my domain with LCN just 2 days ago and I would like to transfer the domain to WordPress so I can built the website here. When I contacted LCN for doing the transfer they told me to speak to you to give instructions about how to do it due to the domain is less of 60 days registered. Does anyone l knows the steps here?

    Hi @g30054 ! I’d actually recommend connecting the domain now, then transferring it as soon as it’s 60 days old. Here’s how to connect an existing domain to WordPress.com.

    Depending on their policy, they may also allow you to cancel the domain since it’s only 2 days old there, then register it here once it’s released (typically this takes less than 5 days if it’s a new registration.)

    Does that help? We won’t have any tools to unlock the domain sooner on their side, and I’m not sure whether they would either, but we can certainly get the site up and going before that regardless.
