I am currently transferring my domain jamesgow.com to wordpress as I no longer wish to use one.com. I have paid for transfer with wordress for this process, but one.com are also asking for a fee to transfer. Can I check why I have to pay two platforms for this process.

Is the domain overdue for renewal? If so, you’ll probably want to take care of that so the domain doesn’t go into redemption. When you add another domain there, it will be transferred over here as well.
