  Hi, currently our domain and hosting plan is with Firstcom Solutions. We would like to purchase the Business plan and transfer it over to WordPress. Kindly advise us on the steps to be done

  The Business plan is great as it empowers you with 200GB of storage space, access to powerful plugins (like WooCommerce!), and the ability to install custom themes. It includes advanced SEO tools, Google Analytics integration, and the option to remove WordPress.com branding. Moreover, the plan facilitates accepting payments, offering live chat support, and creating an e-commerce experience through features like SFTP and database access.

  You can create your new site by going to https://wordpress.com/start.

  On the “choose a domain” screen, you’ll select the “choose my domain later option”, then select your plan on the following screen, and complete the checkout process.

  If you are prompted to select a theme during this process, please do so but know you can change the theme at any time. We’re more than happy to help you select a theme that suits your site’s needs. Let us know what kind of site you’re building and if it needs any specific functionality (like accepting payments, surveys, forms, etc).

  Once the site has been created, you can begin the domain transfer process with our guide at https://wordpress.com/support/domains/incoming-domain-transfer/
