Domain transfer

    I have just created a new account with WordPress, including the domain canadianboycottcoalition.com

    We have another website which we planning to replace with the WordPress account. We are using the domain canadianboycottcoalition.ca for the site we planning to close.

    Can we use or transfer the .ca domain to the WordPress site?

    Please reply to the email provided below with instructions, if this is possible.

    Howdy,

    You can use that domain on WordPress.com. We don’t accept transfers of domain names, so the domain will need to remain registered with your current registrar.

    To add this to a site, visit the Store->Domains page on your site’s dashboard ( https://canadianboycottcoalition.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains ), click the button to add a new domain and follow the prompts.

    With your domain’s registrar, the nameservers need to be changed to ns1.wordpress.com, ns2.wordpress.com, and ns3.wordpress.com.

    If there are e-mail addresses associated with this domain, please let me know before changing it over and I’d be happy to help make sure e-mail deliverability isn’t impacted.
