Domain Transfer
-
How do I get the Authorization Code (EPP), so I can transfer the domain munifi.co to another registrar? The domain munifi.co is currently mapped to a blog that has been deleted, and there are no tools available to manage the domain settings. The domain is not showing up in my Dashboard under Store > My Domains. Under the My Domains, I tried creating a new blog (munifi2.wordpress.com) to map the domain to with the Map a Domain Name You Already Own button, and got this error.. The domain name you entered is already mapped to a WordPress.com blog. If you can not provide a Transfer code, then please unmap the domain munifi.co from the deleted blog. Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m subscribed to this thread, and made sure my profile email is updated. I have reviewed this page.. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/transfer-domain-registration/ which is what I’m trying to do, but my domain does not show up under Store > My Domains, so I can not click the Edit Domain link as described in the tutorial.

Hi @kimfreesland,
Currently, it looks like that domain is registered under a different user account. Do you have another account at WordPress.com or did another user on your blog potentially register the domain? If so, you’ll need to login under that user account to transfer the domain.

What user account is it registered under? There are no other users on my blog. You can see that I’ve registered the domain here.. http://www.whois.com/whois/munifi.co

Hi!
I went ahead and replied through private email to the address on file for the account you’re currently writing from. Please keep all additional correspondence there!
-
I got your email with a return address of..
WordPress.com Support Forums <(email visible only to moderators and staff)>
..but I can’t reply to that, therefore I can’t keep my correspondence via email. I clicked the Reply button, but it just returned me to this forum. The email listed at whois.com is incorrectly spelled, so I will not get any emails at that address. The email on the account I’m posting from is correct. There was only one test post when I originally started the munifi.co blog, can you please help me recover the domain?

Hi!
You will receive two email notifications, one for a notification of my reply to your forum thread here (you won’t be able to reply to that one) and another with my direct email reply (should come from help@wordpress.com). Can you check to see if the second email arrived in your spam folder or another Gmail tab (Social perhaps)?
-
I still did not get the email, can you please resend it? I would like to resolve the domain issue.

I read your solution for helping another user recover their domain here (4th post down)..
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/how-to-recover-a-mapped-domain?replies=57If you check whois.com, I’m the owner of munifi.co (whois email is incorrectly spelled). Could you please help me recover the ghost domain that I own? I’m trying to transfer the domain to another registrar, but need the Authorization Code to do that. Please help!

Hi Kim,
The WHOIS information is not sufficient to verify account ownership. I’ve resent an email to the address on file for your current account. It will come from help at WordPress.com and will read “re: Domain Transfer” in the subject header. Please check your spam folder and all tabs (including the Social tab) in your inbox.
