domain transfer

  I have been undergoing the process to transfer a domain from wordpress.com to Blue host so i can have my wordpress.com site as a wordpress.org . Im up to the stage where im trying to get my domain handed over to the new registrar before i can begin the blue host installation of wordpress.org . Now apparently the domain, bonsaievolutionstudios.com is registered with Wild West Domains, Inc. and i need to contact them in order to have it transferred. so i contacted them via phone call and they said if my dmain is affiliated with wordpress,com at all i need to get this done through wordpress..com support.
  so can i get this transferred somehow to blue host via the worpress support team?

  Hey there,

  That’s right, you need to do this from WordPress.com. It’s a few steps to follow, but they are all detailed here:

  Keep in mind that there are a few confirmation emails and steps involved, so always keep an eye on the small print of each step.

  thanks fro your reply.
  ok so ive recieved an email from (email visible only to moderators and staff) and it says to confirm or decline the transfer of my domain i need to login here and accept or decline the transfer. Now how do you login? because it dosnt seem to be the same login as you would use to get into your account on wordpress.com.

  That’s pretty odd, you should have been directed to your My Domains page:
  https://bonsaievolution.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains

  In there, if you click Edit Domain, and then go to the “Transfer Domain” tab, you’ll see a button that says “Accept Transfer”, and that should work fine for you.

  Do you mind copying me the full text of the email you received? It sounds like an error in the automated email we sent you.

  Dear Hugh Grant,

  WordPress.com received notification on 6/13/2014 that you requested a domain transfer to another domain name registrar. If you want to proceed with this transfer, do not respond to this message. If you want to cancel the transfer, you must decline it before June 17, 2014.

  To decline the transfer:

  1. Go to the WordPress.com Domain Manager (http://dcc.securepaynet.net/default.aspx?prog_id=391143&isc=apibb2080) and log in with your customer number and password.

  2. Under the Domains tab, select PENDING TRANSFERS.

  3. Select the transfer you want to cancel, and then click ACCEPT/DECLINE.

  4. Select DECLINE, and then click OK.
