domain transfer

  So basically I need to install a seperate version of wordpress on a private hosting. For this we have a host. We also need a domain but we purchased our domain from wordpress.com. Can we transfer that domain to godaddy where we can forward it to the correct hosting?

  You are welcome to keep your domain with us and update the nameservers to point to another hosting provider by following this guide:

  After 60 days from the date of purchase or registrant contact information change, you may also transfer your domain to another registrar.
