Domain transfer

    I’ve just transferred my domain hosting from another provider to WordPress, but now my site is down and I’ve just got the message ‘Your transfer has been started and is waiting for authorization from your current domain provider. This process can take up to 7 days. If you need to cancel or expedite the transfer please contact them for assistance.’ – but I already had authorisation from the other provider, they gave an authorisation code. I really need to get my site back up again asap – is there any way of speeding this up?

    We’re still waiting for the domain transfer to be completed by the original domain registrar, which could take a few days.

    Meanwhile, the domain is pointed to your old hosting provider, so I recommend asking them if they can restore the site on that end.
