domain transfer

  Please, help. I am trying to transfer my .com domain name from WP to gandi. I entered the Authorization code, accepted email and then went to WordPress My Domains and accepted the transfer in “Transfer Domain”. When I clicked I was notified that the transfer has been accepted and I would be getting email from gandi.

  However, gandi’s transfer procedure is pending at step 4:
  STEP 4 The transfer has been accepted by the former provider (WILD WEST DOMAINS, LLC)
  (Note: This step is optional; the transfer will proceed automatically after timeout unless denied by the current registrar.)

  And whenever I come back to “Transfer Domain” the option to accept a pending transfer is renewed, like it did not work the first time. I repeated this ca 5-7 times now. Help!

  Hi @asamonek,

  Based on the steps you described, it sounds like we’re waiting on Gandi. Is that correct? I’m referring to this line here:

  The transfer has been accepted by the former provider (WILD WEST DOMAINS, LLC)
  (Note: This step is optional; the transfer will proceed automatically after timeout unless denied by the current registrar.)

  I went ahead and accepted the transfer again on our side hoping that will push it through. However, you’ll continue to see the “Accept” button at WordPress.com until the domain is transferred away (it won’t go away).

  Are you receiving any other indicators as to what might be holding up the transfer from Gandi?

  No, I got nothing else. The transfer finalization has timed out but nothing has changed. The remaining steps look like this:

  STEP 4 The transfer has been accepted by the former provider (WILD WEST DOMAINS, LLC)
  (Note: This step is optional; the transfer will proceed automatically after timeout unless denied by the current registrar.) Pending
  STEP 5 Transfer finalization (Registry’s anticipated transfer completion date: Saturday 7 March 2015, 08:00
  Note that you can contact your former registrar to ask that they speed this up.)

  It looks like the domain luminoplastics.com is no longer registered at WordPress.com so this transfer appears to have gone through successfully. Can you let me know if you can successfully manage the domain from your new registrar? Also, if you no longer plan on using luminoplastics.com with luminoplastics.wordpress.com, I can remove the mapping upgrade you see here:

  Thank you for help. My domain has been transfered to gandi.

  If you can, please remove the mapping, although I think it will expire soon anyway.
