Domain Transfer

  I need to transfer my domain to another registrar. I’ve read the directions and help forums, but my domain management provides NONE of the options you recommend. There is not option to transfer the domain.

  Ok, this is slightly complicated in that the domain expired 118 days ago. However we renewed it with our registrar so fortunately there’s no redemption fee but you will need to pay the regular registration fee.

  I’ve sent an email to the account owner which is different to the email on the account you’re writing from now. Let me know if you didn’t get it.

  That email address is correct, but I have not received anything. Nothing in the junk folder either.

  Ah, I see the problem. The email address you can see here – https://wordpress.com/me/account – is not the correct one because you’re currently signed into the wrong account. The domain is associated with a different WordPress.com account. Try signing out of WordPress.com by clicking the “Sign Out” button then sign in again to your other account. Do you have any other email addresses you sometimes use?

  I checked the only other email address that could be linked to this account and there has been nothing sent there either. Can you not send the link to the email address shown in the info you posted above? My web host is about to drop this site completely because we haven’t been able to comply to their DNS changes. This is emergency status.

  I see you got my email. Great! I’ve just replied and I’ve also got the ball rolling with reinstating the domain with our registrar.

  Rachel, this still isn’t resolved because the payment link you sent us will not allow me to login. WHAT DO I DO? I have until today to get this resolved or our host shuts down our site.
