Domain Transfer

    Hi, I recently transferred my domain to another hosting platform (iPage) but have trouble working with its accommodations. I was wondering if you could help me with transferring back to wordpress? Your help would be greatly appreciated!!

    Hi there,

    I’m afraid it’s not possible to transfer a domain to WordPress.com. You can transfer a domain you bought from us away from us, but there is no way to transfer a domain to us.

    If iPage isn’t working out you’ll have to transfer your domain to another registrar like GoDaddy or Tucows, but also be aware that all domains, no matter where they’re registered, has a 60 day lock after any transfer before you’re allowed to transfer it again, so you’re most likely stuck with iPage for the next two months.
