Domain transfer

  I bought a domain from SquareSpace and am now trying to transfer it to WordPress. Why does the transfer plan (with Premium, $99 US/year) cost more than buying a new personal plan, including a new domain name, from WordPress ($3/month, or $36/year)?

  Hi there,

  It is not possible to transfer a domain to WordPress.com with any of our plans.

  You can connect a domain here using the Personal Plan. To do that, first go to My Site ->Plans and add the plan to your site. Then go to My Site ->Domains to connect the domain.
