  If you’re trying to move your WordPress.com site to a self hosted one, this article might help you: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-properly-move-your-blog-from-wordpress-com-to-wordpress-org/

  Once you get a different hosting provider and install WordPress CMS you will still have the familiar settings of your WordPress.com site

  Hi Thamara,

  I have already cancelled my wordpress.com site,
  now i all blank. I will like just to transfer My domain and
  reinstall wordpress from my hosting provider. Is there any other way?

  I will like just to transfer My domain

  What was the custom domain you cancelled? Did you purchase it from WordPressdotcom/WildWestDomains or from a different domain registrar?

  Hi,

  Basically my hosting provider needs the “auth code”.

  I cancelled my wordpress account witch a can get in but is blank.

  Hi there,

  You cancelled the domain, lazarinkroni.com, on 6 January. You don’t own that domain any more, so it is not possible for you to transfer it.

  Luckily it looks like your domain hasn’t gone into redemption with our registrar yet, so we should be able to get it back for you. I’ve emailed them to try and restore the domain. Once it is restored you should be able to transfer it.

  Hi Kokkieh,

  Sorry to disturb you again. The host that I am trying to get
  requires that the “whois” is disabled. Can you help me with that?

  You need to go to the Transfer Domain page and click the blue button that says Accept Settings and Continue. It looks like you only requested the code, instead of clicking that button. That button unlocks your domain and disables private registration. The new registrar won’t be able to transfer the domain until you click that.
