Domain Transfer

    I purchased a domain name via Etsy and was going to use their website builder to create mine. I did not like their set up and ended up using WordPress. It has been 60 days so I am able to transfer. Can I make that my website address for my WordPress site? Do I have to pay for the WordPress upgrade to make that happen?

    While we register new domains here at WordPress.com, we’re not able to accept incoming transfers of existing domain names. Therefore, we recommend that you keep the name registered at your current registrar. You can use the domain for your site here at WordPress.com by mapping the domain, as explained here:
