Domain transfer

    Hello!
    I went through a support call, was directed how to sign up so I could transfer my domain over. I purchased the plan as directed, and was told I’d have to wait a bit. Call ended, I went through and set up the account, but now it won’t let me use my google domain.
    I’ve been directed how to signing up for a new monthly subscription. I just want to do the website transfer I was directed to through support.

    Now that I have an account with wordpress, it’s directing me to online support, which doesn’t exist. I went to online support and it’s saying I can only post in forums to ask other customers for help? That doesn’t make sense to me; that the company I made the purchase through can’t help, and I’m suppose to reach out to other paying customers to help resolve this issue? Is there somewhere specific I need to go to for online support?

    If anyone knows how to help, I’d greatly appreciate it.

    Hi there,

    Can you remember who you spoke with? We don’t provide phone support on WordPress.com, so it’s completely impossible for you to have been on a call with someone from our team. We also don’t offer monthly plans at this time.

    I see you now have an annual WordPress.com Starter plan with us, but you only bought that plan from us a few hours after you created this forum thread, so I think you were talking with, and bought a hosting plan from, another hosting provider. In that case you’d be using the open source WordPress software. WordPress.com, where you’re posting now, is something different.

    If you want to host your site with that other provider, you need to contact their support for help getting things set up correctly. In that case, you can cancel the upgrades you bought from us for a full refund from https://wordpress.com/me/purchases

    If you want to host the site here with us, you have one last step to complete – your domain is connected to your site, but it’s not pointed to us yet. To complete the domain connection, you’ll need to log into your account at Google Domains and change the domain’s name servers to point it to WordPress.com:
