I am sorry for this difficult task, but i switched my domain that was registerd through another site to this one. now, I tried to switch it BACK to the original site that it was registered to, but the website is now not working and says that its having mapping issues. Then i found in the HELP forum that i did not do the transfer process correctly to ‘unlock’ it for transfer from here. Can you guys help please? i need this site up and running immediately. Thank you

  • Hi –

    Please share the domain addresses.

    thekhaoseffect.com

when i type it in, it says
“Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.”

  • That site is loading for me. And it does not show a WordPress.com site any longer. When did you edit the DNS? It can take up to 3 days to fully activate. I see it is pointed to Domain Control (via GoDaddy).

it seems to show up for people that work with these commercial site builders and hosting companies. but to the average user, it does not show up. instead it shows the text that i copied and pasted “Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.”

and where it says “log in”, its a hyperlink to WordPress.com for me to log in. but i cant log in and see the domain anymore because i got rid of domain control through wordpress and changed back to GoDaddy. so now i need to know why nobody but you guys and GoDaddy can see it. nobody else can. and i cant even edit it because it keeps redirecting me to wordpress and giving me that message.

  • Hi –

I am able to load both thekhaoseffect.com and http://www.thekhaoseffect.com without any trouble.

Try clearing your browser cache: https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache

You can also try to view it in a different web browser.

The domain is not registered through WordPress.com or mapped to your account any longer.
