Domain Transfer

  Hello, I bought my domain dawndancers.com through wordpress and I want to transfer for it to a new host. Apparently, the domain is registered with Wild West Domains (WWD) but I do not have the log in details to unlock the domain and to obtain the EPP code. Where can I get the log in details for WWD so I can transfer my domain?

  This article gives details information on transferring your domain registration to another registrar:

  Please have in mind that once you have transferred a domain away, it will not be possible to transfer it back to WordPress.com.

  Hi blazevivan,

  I have followed the instructions but after I have selected “Transfer to another registrar” the page just opens with flashing boxes where the text should be so I cannot proceed further. What can I do about this?

  Im sorry to hear that.
  You might have a minor issue with your browser. I would recommend clearing its cache, and here is how to do it for the one you’re using:

  • Firefox
  • Chrome
  • Internet Explorer
  • Edge
  • Safari
  • Opera

  In the following link there are few more suggestions, so please check them if clearing cache didn’t help you.

  After you have clear cache, repeat the process one more time.

  Hi blazevivan,

  I have tried this and now when I click on “transfer to another registrar” it just comes up with an orange box saying “These settings can be changed by the user dawndancers.” although I am logged in as dawndancers. Is this something else?

  Hello there,

  I would first see if you get this same response if you try another browser altogether or an incognito window to definitely confirm this isn’t a caching issue locally.

  In the meantime I am also tagging in a staff member to see if we can offer some more insight to see what else you can try/what may be going on.

  “These settings can be changed by the user dawndancers.” although I am logged in as dawndancers.

  You are currently logged in as cwebster48 but the domain is owned by dawndancers — only this account will be able to request a transfer.

  Your My Profile page will confirm which account you are currently logged in to. The username is displayed under your profile photo on the left.
