Domain transfer

I want to transfer my domain name from GoDaddy to wordpress, but when I try it always ask for premium payment.

You need an upgraded WordPress.com plan to transfer or map a domain but it doesn’t have be be the Premium plan. The Personal plan will work too. Once you have paid for the Personal plan a domain credit will be placed in your account that you can use to transfer or map a domain.
