  I need to transfer my domain. I had someone set up my website through wordpress. trevorohlsen.com and I am trying to transfer the domain to my new squarespace website. Please help me.

  Hi there,

  trevorohlsen.com is registered with namecheap, not with us here at WordPress.com. You have a self-hosted WordPress.org site, not a WordPress.com site, so you’ll need to go through your domain host Namecheap to transfer your domain.

  You can find instructions on how to transfer your domain away from namecheap here.

  Domain transfer will be done by staff.

  To clarify, transferring a domain to another registrar or username/account can only be done by the domain owner due to ICANN regulations. However, mapping for now can only be moved by us!
