  According to the search you provide, my domain is not mapped. How does that affect me transferring my name from Squarespace to WordPress?

  Hi there,

  Your domain does not have to be mapped here to transfer it. All this means is you won’t be able to use the domain with your site while the transfer is in progress, as you can’t add that after you’ve started the transfer. But I can see your transfer is already pending, so it should complete in a few days and then you’ll be able to make any changes you need to make to the domain on our end.

  The OP is asking about transferring a domain to WordPress.com, not about migrating a WordPress.com site to Squarespace.

  Yep, I got that. The links I posted above point to a support walkthrough for people with sites on Squarespace wanting to transfer them to WordPress.com, detailing the steps and what content will transfer over as well as details on domain options. :)
