  I purchased a domain for 2 years, if I transfer it to WordPress will I have to pay anything extra? Or will I get an extra third year free?

  Hello there, in order to transfer a domain that you own to WordPress.com, you need an upgraded plan.

  All paid plans include a free credit that allows you to either transfer your domain to WordPress.com or map your domain registered elsewhere to your WordPress.com site.

  If not mistaken, there’s no special offer or discounts on WordPress.com plans. Anyway, I’m adding modlook tag for Staff clarifications if required.

  If you transfer your domain to WordPress.com as part of the purchase of a plan a third year will be added to the registration.
