  im interested in transferring a domain over to a new domain here at wordpress. I want the transferring domain to be redirected to the new not to replace the new, is that possible?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If I understand correctly, you wish to keep your domain with your current registrar but point it to the site hosted at WordPress.com?

  If yes, you can do that with domain mapping: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  In order to map your domain to the site hosted at WordPress.com, you need an upgraded plan. All paid plans on WordPress.com comes with a free credit that allows you to register a new domain or transfer/map your existing domain.
