Domain Transfer

  I own a GoDaddy domain for my wordpress blog. How long does it take for the domain to be transferred? I have followed the steps to map the domain but I am unable to complete the transfer. My current domain still has the .wordpress site.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi! Thanks for the quick reply! Please see below details for the issue:

  My WordPress Blog is: https://tdesignsnoww.wordpress.com

  The domain i am trying to add is this: http://www.tdesignsnow.com

  And i encountered another problem, when i access the link now it says this:

  “tdnph.wordpress.com is no longer available.
  The authors have deleted this site.”

  I don’t know much about the technical stuff. What i do know is just the basics. Please help! Thanks so much!

  Which wordpress.com domain is it that you’re trying to set up with the domain? You’ve mentioned three of them here: tsanthology.wordpress.com, tdnph.wordpress.com, and tdesignsnoww.wordpress.com. Based on the error that now comes up with http://www.tdesignsnow.com, it seems you’ve set it up to go to tdnph.wordpress.com when you need to set it up to go to tdesignsnoww.wordpress.com.

  Hi! Thanks for the reply.

  This blog – tsanthology.wordpress.com is inactive, this is not the blog i am trying to fix. I think it just got automatically included because it is my default profile

  I changed the blog name from tdnph.wordpress.com to tdesignsnoww.wordpress.com in hopes that it would fix the problem but it did not.

  Hi there,

  To add that domain to your WordPress.com site you’ll need to buy a paid plan at My Site ->Plans for the correct site first, and then either add a domain transfer, or a domain mapping upgrade. I don’t see any purchased upgrades in your account, so it’s quite impossible that you could have started transferring that domain already.

  And i encountered another problem, when i access the link now it says this:

  “tdnph.wordpress.com is no longer available.

  This is because you changed the free address for that site from tdnph.wordpress.com to tdesignsnoww.wordpress.com. If you still want tdnph.wordpress.com, we can restore that site to your account, but we cannot reverse the address change.
