  I want to create a wordpress website. I have purchased a domain from GoDaddy, and it’s currently being used for class registrations, payment portal, general info, etc. Can I create a wordpress website that isn’t live, and then transfer to the domain when I’m done creating?

  Yes, you can do that. It’s a common question that we see. You’ll just wait and connect the domain to your site after it’s ready to go.

  Keep in mind, it could take a few days to take effect, so you may want to give yourself a window of time.
