  I have a website with Squarespace, but I would like to make my own website on WordPress, I have my domain already, what is the best transfer option so people can access the page I have now but still start re-designing on WordPress?

  To use a custom domain, you have to buy one of the paid plans. Each plan comes with a free domain credit, which can be used to map, register, or transfer a domain.

  To transfer your domain to WordPress.com, it should be at least 60 days old.
