Domain Transfer

  I currently have a domain “tempetunes.com” hosted through Go Daddy and for one month I used the 1 click WordPress install web hosting. After the month was over I canceled the web hosting and now my domain is sitting for free on Go Daddy.

  I want to be able to transfer my domain completely to WordPress and have a fresh clean start with my domain. I no longer want Go Daddy to have anything to do with my domain and would like it to be completely 100% registered through WordPress.

  What are the necessary steps to do this correctly?

  Unfortunately it would appear that WordPress.com does not accept incoming domain transfers.

  It isn’t exactly what you specified, but you would still be able to keep GoDaddy as your registrar while hosting with WordPress using these instructions: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
