Domain transfer

Hello, I recently transferred my domain name to another platform. However, whenever I search for my site it comes up with the WordPress message “This domain is parked”.

This is blocking my access to both my old WordPress website (now under the wordpress domain) and my new site which I have paid to be transferred.

Can someone please help me with this? It is a huge disruption to my business.

    Thank you.

Sure. You’d be welcome to point the domain to other name servers / another host. You’ll do that in your new registrar’s control panel, so the how-to will depend on where you transferred the domain.

If you intend to display the same site that you had here (which still works at https://rosemontinternational.wordpress.com/ ), just with the domain registered elsewhere, that’s fine too. When you add a plan and map the domain, it will start working again.

  • Oh, I did note you actually do still have an active Premium plan, so for the moment I’ve re-mapped the domain for you so it can start working again in the meantime.

If that’s not your intention, please let us know what you have in mind.

  • One more note, I noticed the domain actually _is_ already pointed to another registrar. So it’s possible you’re just waiting for DNS propagation — essentially waiting for your computer and internet connection to forget the site was here and look for it in its new place.

That process can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days. Your ISP may be able to help you hurry things along if it’s taking a long time.

I can already see the correct site here. Cheers!
