Domain Transfer

  Hi, I am currently building my website with service provider Shopify. Thing is the payment gateways are not compatible or don’t offer their services in my Country. I would like to use wordpress to integrate a third party gateway to my website so i could receive payments. Can I have some guidance on a way forward with this? Added to that should I transfer the domain all together.

  Hi demetrihebron,

  In my personal opinion, it’s always easier to have your domain hosted where your website is also hosted. Take a look at this article on domain transfers:

  If you’d like to keep your domain at your current registrar, they should be able to help get that pointed to your hosting here. Just a matter of changing a few DNS records :)

  My problem is that i can’t get a gateway portal for payment in Trinidad. Does wordpress have a solution to this problem. A company WIpay offers a API, can wordpress integrate it into the website.

  I’ve done a little bit of digging as I am not familiar with the requirements for a payment processor in Trinidad. Have you seen this article from 2016?
