domain transfer

  I want to start a wordpress website for my business. The domain that I own will transfer in two days on June 2nd but not before. Should I just wait to get started until then?

  Hi angjaaditi,

  There are two types of WordPress to choose from:

  1. WordPress.com: where the site is created and hosted here on WordPress.com
  2. WordPress.org: where WordPress.org software is installed on another host

  The differences are explained in more details here:

  If you wanted to use WordPress.com, you can start by creating a site, adding content, choosing a theme etc. The domain can then be mapped now or transferred to WordPress.com In June:
