  hello, i have a domain name that i own with another site but i have another months before i leave that site. so my question is can i work on my wordpress page to i can have it up and ready to go when my last month expires with old service?

  @epiffanyeman no problem. You’re welcome to stage your new site with us before pointing the domain here. That way your current site can stay “live” until your new one is ready.

  Start by creating your site with the plan of your choice:
  https://wordpress.com/plans

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/five-step-website-setup/

  And then just avoid using the domain options until you’re ready. Then you can either transfer the domain or map it to our servers.

  Noting you may need a domain to add plugins and themes to our Business plan, but if you need help with that, you can get in touch via chat support and our team will help you through.
