domain transfer active but not working?

    Hello,

    I transferred my domain from GoDaddy- it shows active- made primary domain but says I need to point to wordpress and jetpack is saying it cant communicate with the new primary domain.

    i have the “use wordpress.com name servers” turned on..

    any advice on how to fix?

    Hi there!

    It appears your domain ibuildcars.com has a custom IP address pointing it away from WordPress.com, which is why it doesn’t load your WordPress.com site at the moment. We can remove the IP addresses from the domain and point it to WordPress.com. Can you confirm you’re ready to start using this domain with your site?

    The Jetpack connection issue will be resolved once the domain is configured and is pointing to your WordPress.com site.

    the site is both a classified ads site and blog all dedicated to automotive.

    i am using the classima theme from radius theme.

    Hi there!

    Thanks for confirming! I’ve pointed the domain to WordPress.com IP addresses. This change can take up to 72 hours to take effect, though it usually takes only a few hours. Within this timeframe, the domain will start loading your WordPress.com site.

    Please let us know if you are still having issues with viewing your site at ibuildcars.com after 72 hours from now.

    thank you! And will the SSL also be applied? It’s currently not opening on a https

    one other question:

    i have an outlook email adress already purchased for this domain.

    the steps ask for a MS token code.

    the email address was purchased through GoDaddy and I can’t find the token.

    is there a way to transfer it from GoDaddy to WordPress?

    How long before the SSL is applied?

    The site has been down for a week and the SSL says pending.

    the warning in the header still states:

    “Jetpack is unable to connect to your domain because your domain’s DNS records aren’t pointing to your site.”

    desperate to fix!

    Hi there,

    I’ve gone ahead and provisioned the SSL certificate for your site, and it now correctly loads over HTTPS. You should be able to access your site securely without any issues. If you’re still seeing any warnings or it’s not loading as expected, I recommend clearing your browser’s cache or trying a different browser to see the changes.
