Domain Transfer and Account Closure

  Hi, I need to transfer the domain I own to a Squarespace site and then close my account, but I’m having trouble figuring out how to do that.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can follow the steps to transfer your domain registration here:

  And the steps for closing your account can be found here:

  Close Your Account

  Please note: This not only shuts down your username, it deletes all the sites you own and all their contents. After a few weeks, this data will be entirely purged from our servers and the process cannot be reversed.

  Hi there,

  The account you’re using to post here does not own any domains. What domain are you trying to transfer?

  If you’re speaking of chroniclesofeve.com, you cancelled that domain on 17 February, so you are no longer the owner and are not able to transfer it.

  That domain is still in our control, so if that’s the domain you want to transfer we are still able to restore it to your account at this time. Please confirm if we should do that.
