Domain Transfer and connect to existing site

    Please keep help! I just making it worse. My Blog is issuesandopinions.wordpress.com and I want to add a domain name to this same site which I already own through go daddy. I want to add the domain issuesandopinionsbycarlocooper.com. I want both domains to direct people to this same site. I have asked go daddy to unlock domain. Please help me. I do not want a new site. I have several years of articles already on my blog. Carl O. Cooper

    Hi there,

    To clarify, you wish to change the address of your WordPress.com site from issuesandopinions.wordpress.com to issuesandopinionsbycarlocooper.com, yes?

    It is possible to do that (have a WordPress.com site but with a custom address), but to do so will require you to upgrade, as this is not an option on our free sites.

    If you choose the yearly option (instead of monthly billing), you can transfer your domain from your current registrar at no extra cost. Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
