Domain transfer and email

    Hi,
    I have email for three accounts and domain name with GoDaddy. I’d like to transfer to WordPress but cannot afford interruption in emails. Do I need to be concerned about email disruption if I transfer the domain?

    I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

    Hi @cosmiceatsadmin, will you be keeping the email hosting with GoDaddy? If so, you’ll just want to be sure the correct settings are in place prior to moving the domain here. Our staff can help with that after you’ve connected the domain, and before you change its settings to point here.

    If you’ll be cancelling the email service with GoDaddy, though, I’d recommend setting up your new email service first and getting your mail imported over. If you need help with that, please let us know which email service you’ll be using so we can help you find the right steps:
