Domain Transfer and Web Hosting

  I have a domain name registered through Hostgator and I currently have web hosting provided by LiveEdit platform. I would like to move the registration of the domain name to WordPress.com and host it on a free page here. Can you give me some specific information on this, such as how I might go about initiating this change and how much it would cost to transfer and register my domain name at WordPress.com. Thanks so much!

  Hi @macamarillo2, to use the domain as a primary name here, you’ll need a paid plan. You can find the pricing here:

  The domain transfer is free with the plan and will add one year to your registration. After that, you can renew the domain at these rates:
