Domain Transfer Authorization

GoDaddy needs me to get an Authorization Number from WordPress after performing a Domain Transfer, moving my domain from WP to GoDaddy.com.
When I requested the transfer from WP, this information was not provided. I emailed support about 24hrs ago and have not heard from anyone. Should I expect a reply soon (or at all)? Is there any other way to obtain this Authorization Number?
Having my e-commerce site offline is costly and it’s been down all week. Getting impatient…

Hi there,
Our automated system will send you your Authorization code directly to the email address which you had on file when you first registered your domain, as long as you have removed Private Registration from your domain.
You will need to follow the instructions included in this help article to log in to your Domain account and request that the Authorization code be sent to you:
If you follow the instructions there you shouldn’t have any issues transferring your domain!

I removed the Privacy setting and still never received an automated email containing the Authorization number, however I’ve found it after digging through that link you sent. My domain transfer has been pending approval from WP for about 3 days now, hopefully it goes through really soon. Thanks for the help!

Once the authorization code has been entered, it will usually stay as “pending” for about 5 days. I can see if there’s a way to push it through immediately if you’d like, or you can just allow it to run its course.

Which domain is this for? I just went into our interface for your two domains associated with this particular account and neither of them are showing as pending transfer right now. It could be that the transfer has already gone through (which would be great timing!), but I just wanted to verify . . .

the domain to be transferred to GoDaddy is CandidBomb.com
It is showing as ‘pending’ in my GoDaddy Domain panel. -
OK, looks like candidbomb.com has now been pushed into a pending status on this end as well! It should transfer over here pretty soon.

From our end we can only see that the domain is set to Pending Transfer. It should go at any point! I’m sorry that this is taking a while . . .
