Domain Transfer Code Error

I’m attempting to initiate a domain transfer, but I keep getting an error message when I click for the code. I am an admin, but I’m not the admin that originally added the domain. I can however confirm that it was registered through WordPress/Wild West Domains. Please help. This is for http://www.neohioscca.com, despite whatever else may get automatically appended to this post. Thank you.

I’d like to also add that I do have permission of the original admin to initiate this transfer. I’ve sent him links to the help pages describing how to do this, but “this is all Greek” to him.

Hi @jasonpokines, only the domain owner will be able to transfer a domain out. Can you log in as the user that purchased it, or have them log in and initiate the transfer?

That’s what I was fearing. I sent him an email asking for his login credentials or his phone number so I can walk him through it on the phone. Wish me luck!

That may be easy for whippersnappers like us, but I think even that is probably too much for him. Regardless, thank you for your help and attention.
