domain transfer code wix>>wordpress

  I bought a domain through wix.com and now I want to transfer it to wordpress.com. The support team gave me a “transfer code” instructed me to send it to “copy this code into the required field with your new registrar, and your domain transfer will be completed.” I don’t see a place for that. Help?

  Sorry about the weird sentence structure…kept rewording and should have read it all through before posting! Should read:

  Hi there,

  The reason you don’t see the place to enter it anywhere in our system is because we don’t current accept domain transfers in to WordPress.com. Our systems are not set up in such a way to allow for them.

  If you would like to transfer your domain away from Wix, there are a variety of excellent domain registrars out there to which you could transfer your domain and then point it to WordPress.com.
