  What is the cost to transfer a domain from another site? What is the cost to map a domain to wordpress?

  Here you can find the info about available domains and their costs on WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/domain-pricing-and-available-tlds/. Please have in mind that first year domain cost is free of charge!

  Domain mapping itself is free, but it is available on Personal, Premium, Business, or eCommerce plans only.

  Hi there,

  To transfer a domain to us you will need to first buy a paid plan. Included in the plan is one free domain transfer.

  If you want to transfer more than one domain, you’ll pay a per-domain cost for any additional domains, as per the prices at the first link shared above.

  Keep in mind that any domain you transfer to us will also be renewed for an additional year once the transfer completes, so essentially you’re paying for that renewal. You won’t lose any time you’ve already paid for on the domain at your current domain provider.
