Domain transfer denied

    On Friday, Jan. 6, 2023, I started the process of transferring my site domain. I received an authorization code and the new registrar tried to facilitate the transfer. The transfer request was denied. Now a WP email is saying the domain is not associated with my email address, even though my email address is on the Account Settings page! The domain was paid up through June 2023 so it should still belong to me. I have emailed WordPress a few times but each response is more confusing.

    Hi there,

    I see that you have privacy protection enabled on the domain, which is preventing it from being transferred. I have disabled privacy on this end so you should be able to proceed with your transfer now without issue.
