domain transfer / domain without *.wordpress.com missing

hi, my website used to be holamanchester.com via wordpress, received and email from wordpress to upgrade or it will revert to holamanchester.wordpress.com.
i have not upgraded and want to transfer holamanchester.com to 123reg.co.uk but the only domain i can see to transfer is holamanchester.wordpress.com. how do i get the domain holamanchester.com whois.net states domain registered with wildwestdomains who supplies wordpress.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

holamanchester.com expired on 25 July, and we haven’t sent any emails recently regarding that domain. When is the email you speak of dated?
Your domain is at this stage already past the point where we are able to recover it, but it should be released by our registrar within the next week or two, at which point you will be able to register it anywhere you like.
Just keep in mind that once it is released anyone will be able to register it, so if someone gets to it before you, you won’t be able to get it back again.
