domain transfer email access
-
I am interested in upgrading plans and transferring our existing domain over to WordPress but the company we use right now also hosts our email through Yahoo. If we transfer our domain over to WordPress, what do we do about maintaining email access and ensuring we still have our email addresses hosted – would it still be through Yahoo or move to WordPress? Or is there another company WordPress works with?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

WordPress.com does not provide an email service for blogs on their subdomains or on custom domains. Please see these support docs after your purchase a domain mapping upgrade:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/add-email/
https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-forwarding/In order to map to a domain one must have an underlying .wordpress.com subdomain blog to map from and it does not matter what that underlying .wordpress.com URL is. It does not have to match the domain URL. If you do not register a .wordpress.com blog URL first then the software supplies the dot whatever URL so you can proceed with your domain mapping purchase.

Your billing history will be at Dashboard > Store > Billing History

It can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What’s important during that stage is to be patient.
