Domain transfer failure – Wild West Domain needs to show email address

    We are trying to transfer the domain sabah-ismail.com to Gandi.net.

    We have no Privacy Services for this website.
    We purchased the new domain and the transfer was underway. We entered the EPP code. Then Gandi.net cannot proceed as that the Wild West Domains’ listing of the domain in WhoIs does not list our email address as the owner. Gandi therefore cannot issue an email requesting us to approve the transfer.

    I have flagged this to support twice and they ask for more information? When we have stated the issue as above. No satisfactory response in one week. We are stuck in limbo.

    Our email address is entered in our Contact Information but is not listed on WhoIs directory and we need it there for the transfer to take place.

    We replied to your email last week Friday. We’ve had no further replies from you on that email since.

    If I do a Whois search for your domain I see a Gmail address listed for your domain contact emails under registrant, admin and tech contacts. That is the same email that’s saved in our system for your domain:

    https://whois.icann.org/en/lookup?name=sabah-ismail.com

    If that’s not the email that Gandi is seeing for your domain, the problem is with the database they’re querying, not with your domain. Or else they’re querying the Registrar email instead of the Admin email. That’s something Gandi would need to fix on their end, but the Whois info on your domain is definitely correct.
