Domain Transfer from GoDaddy not working
-
I followed the directions to transfer my domain (azucenaverdin.com) from GoDaddy to WordPress exactly one week ago. When I click on “domains” in Wordpres, I see the option to “Points to WordPress.com,” however when I click on that, it takes me to the page that shows that domain is already connected to WordPress. Also, when I go back to my GoDaddy account, that domain is no longer showing up, indicating that the transfer is complete. However, when I click on azucenaverdin.com, I keep getting directed to a landing page that says, “azucenaverdin.com is parked free, courtesy of GoDaddy.com.” How can I get my WordPress site to show up instead?

Hi there,
It looks like your domain, azucenaverdin.com, was still using GoDaddy’s DNS records, which is why it was pointing to that GoDaddy page. I’ve gone ahead and switched the DNS records to ours, so now your domain is properly pointing to your WordPress.com site.
If you’re still seeing the GoDaddy parking page, it might be due to your browser holding onto outdated information. Clearing your browser’s cache should resolve this issue. If you’re not sure how to clear your browser’s cache, here’s a helpful guide: https://wordpress.com/support/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache
Also, give it a few hours for the changes to fully propagate across the internet. Sometimes it can take a little while for everything to update, but you should see your WordPres.com site appearing when you visit your domain soon.
