    Hi there,

    It is not possible to add a custom domain to a free site, so the way you will want to proceed is to first upgrade to one of the plans you see listed here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

    It does not matter which plan you choose, they all include a free domain transfer (as well as a free year or domain registration once it is transferred) and once you upgrade let us know and we can walk you through the domain transfer process.

    Also please note that the $18 you spent has been credited to your account, so we will discount that amount from any plan you purchase automatically. You will see the credit when you enter the checkout page.
