Domain Transfer from Wild West Domains Inc
-
My domain is about to expire, and BlueHost has sent me a mail asking me to renew. The Domain is registered with Wild West Domains Inc. I can’t seem to find any login information to Wild West Domains as I purchased the Domain through WordPress. How do I proceed from here?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello @rameshdesilva !
Can you first please let us know what is the domain you are talking about?
Also, here is some more information about domain transfer:

Looking at your domain (keepitsimplesl.com), I see that this is not hosted on WordPress.com, but on BlueHost. What this tells us is that you are WordPress.org user, not a WordPress.com user.
This forum is dedicated only to the websites hosted on WordPress.com.
WordPress.org is the self-hosted version of WordPress.com. To learn more about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, check this link: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
The support forums for WordPress.org can be found here: https://wordpress.org/support/. Feel free to follow the link and create a new support request, like you did here.
You could get in touch with your host (BlueHost), too. You can contact them HERE: https://www.bluehost.com/contact
Hope this helps!

You’re welcome!
Just to clarify: Wild West Domains is actually our domain registrar partner. So you may see their name in reference to the domain you registered here at WordPress.com.
You can try logging into your WordPress.com account and see if your domain name is expiring. Maybe Bluehost is being nice and reminding you to do just that.
Also, my guess (because I see that your domain name points to Bluehost’s dns) is that you have a hosting account that you pay there and I think that’s what they talk about (Bluehost) when they remind you about renewal. They probably remember you about the fact that your hosting package will expire soon.
Just make sure you check that your .com domain will not expire or that you payed it for the upcoming period and if you still want to keep your website running on Bluehost’s hosting servers, don’t forget to pay the hosting package, too :)
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with going forward!

On Bluehost, it says current registrar is “Wild West Domains Inc.” but I can’t remember getting the domain from them. My issue is that I can’t even login to their site… as I don’t think I have an account there. Also they don’t have a way of contacting them other than phone… hmmm…

Yes. We are a reseller of Wild West Domains Inc., that is why it appears like that.
So Wild West Domains Inc. is a separate company. Is not the same as Bluehost, is just that you have your hosting at bluehost and you use the domain that you bought from Wild West Domains Inc.
Can you try to explain me a little bit more about what you are trying to accomplish?

Also, in order to log into your website’s WordPress panel, you can simply go here: http://www.keepitsimplesl.com/wp-admin
Please let me know how can I help you going forward!

First of all, thank you for helping me with this.
What I want is to not let the domain expire… just want to pay and keep the domain name. The problem is that I can’t seem to do it through Blue Host… so I tried transferring the domain there.. so that Hosting and Domain are both in one place. But I can’t seem to transfer as it says locked. Is there a simple way i can renew/pay for the domain? -
Can you please take a look at this link and tell me if it helps you: https://en.support.wordpress.com/faq-renewing-and-canceling/ ?

Also, when you bought the domain name, you should have received some confirmation email with the purchase and your account.
Try to go into your mail account and search for your domain name (keepitsimplesl.com). That might be helpful, too.
